Then, PayLater is most widely used by men by 52% compared to women who only use 48%.
Adek M Reza, president of the Katadata Insight Center (KIC), said in a survey that the number one reason for using the PayLater platform is the flexibility of 70% installment payments.
Adek said on Thursday (5 February 2022):
Adek also explained that the trend of using PayLater and online shopping has increased in Tier 2 and 3 cities and regions.
“In 2020, the trend for level 2 online shopping will increase by 28%, then 30% in 2021. Then at level 3 there will be a 6% increase in 2021 compared to 5% in 2020,” said Adek.
Kredivo Indina Andamari, VP Marketing and Communications, said the trend of using PayLater and increasing online shopping at Level 2 and 3 are positive signs.
“This shows that digital penetration is increasingly inclusive in Tier 2 and 3 domains,” said India.
